In light of International Women’s Day on Sunday the 8th of March, I’ve asked some of the amazing women in my life to share what it’s like to be woman.
I’ll be highlighting a variety of women from different backgrounds, careers and beliefs to bring you a selection of just how awesome being a woman is.
This bomb shell is everything I wish I was as a woman 😅. Super stylish, exudes confidence and so God dang gorgeous. I introduce to you our 9th amazing woman for the month - Taelor @stylishsista....all the way from NEW YORK CITY. (Yes I'm fan girling, yes I have a friend in New York, yes when I visit next I'll be hitting her up to show me all the amazing spots...she doesn't know that, but she will haha)
I came across Tae's feed early last year and was just captured by her confidence at first. Her love for her body is something I admire and I adored all her fashion choices. As I sit here in tights and an oversized tee - she's over there flaunting it in a leopard print crop, skinny jeans and high heels 🔥
Not only does she grace Insta with fashiony goodness...she also has a blog and is an illustrator. This gals got it all.
What makes you feel empowered about being a woman?
Our strength. Every woman I know from mothers to daughters, sisters, friends, all have this strength and tenacity about them.
What has been your most proudest moment in your life? Whether that be in your career or personal life.
What my blog has grown into is one of my proudest moments as I feel like I am actually encouraging women to love their bodies and the create which has always been a dream of mine.
Why is it so important for women to support each other?
There’s strength in numbers. Not only do we learn from each other but we can also lift each other up through encouragement and compassion.
What's your go-to self care to feel like a queen?
Ooh! Love this question! I love a good mani/pedi accompanied with nail art. So I can sit there extra long, listen to tunes, and watch an artist paint up close and personal, AND walk away with the art
